5 days since i last updated.Beginning to see that its getting longer and longer before i have any free time to put up my blog.Free time is getting scarce this days.

Nothing much happened the last few days.Busy with my final year project.But at least today i had some free time to spend on myself.I had borrowed an Olympus E-10 camera for my fyp.It is the most expensive and best camera to use as it has 4 megapixels,has external lens,flash and i also borrowed a tripod just for it.Its every photographers dream camera(to me!) but not everyone can afford it cos it costs $1.5k!As chinese new year was going to take up thursday and friday,i had the privilege of borrowing it from wednesday to monday.Brought it home and decided to test it out.Turns out it was the most battery consuming camera ive ever used!Had problems connecting it to the computer which took up about 1 1/2 hour of my time and the battery was flat by then!And i wasnt using any cheap one dollar battery,i used 4 new energizer battery.Just my luck.But got the camera connected to the computer after i sms rahim,the lab technician on his mobile. Wanted to take some outdoor shots yesterday,but was to lazy.I planned to shoot today but it was raining all the way till 3.In the end i went out of my house at 3.30pm and headed to city hall.My main purpose today was to take photographs all around singapore(not really all of singapore).I walked past clarke quay,past the bridge,to the esplanade,then to marina bay and went back to city hall mrt staition.I wasnt really satisfied with what i had then,so after much thought in the train,i just alighted at outram park.I have never walked around that area so i decided it was a risk i was going to take.I walked around the area and realised that chinatown was just around the corner and many old shophouses was built there.Just my luck!I walked and took photos of anything interesting,and there was really lots of interesting stuff to keep me entertained.I think i walked for 2 hours before i realised i was going round and round.I was lost!So i decided to test my luck again and luckily,i found a bus that goes to Jurong East.Then i took the train home.It was a success!haha.Maybe ill go around taking photographs again tommorow... Been a while since i last updated.Went to Comgraph screening at the Substation yesterday.They had on show a screening of the best 3d animations for us to watch.While waiting for the show to start,me and kent sneaked out of the place to catch a glimpse of the photography gallery at the room at the entrance of the place.The photos were good with great symmetry balance and the use of black and white in them.Kinda admire the lady who took them.Found out that the lady whose stuff were on showcase was kent's client for his final year project.He has to do some kind of music video for this band called Aestrial,a local band.Sneaked back into the room and caught the hour and a half of animations.

Most of them were great animations with a story behind every one of them.Hilarious and funny was the one appreciated by most of the people but i really liked the last piece of animation about an old man and his lifelong dedication of sculptures he produce every day of his life.It was in black and white and it really captures the mood of sadness and reality.This is something that is different from the rest,it tries to be serious and it really caught my attention.Wondering if me and kent can do such an animation in our animation group assignment... Went to school today till one.Had this funny lecturer and i have to say it was one of my most enjoyable lectures ive had in SP.Met up with my old colleagues,tat chuan and melvin at bugis.Melvin's friend came along.I thought he was the same age as Melvin,that is 25,but he was 30!Was so shocked that he still look so young.haha.We had a drink or two and decided to trash it all out in C n C: Zero Hours.Been so long since we last played together.The first game was fast but the second one was 2 hours long!After that, went to Selegi to play pool with Melvin and his friend while Tat Chuan went home.Played till 7 and was on my way back home.Went out again at 9 till 10 plus to Lot 1 to meet up with an old "friend" of mine.Been so long since i last met her.Now she's happily studying at ITE Bishan. Well,got some sketches to do for my final year project.Better do it nicely or else im gonna get whacked by the rest of the group members... January 14, 2004
Yesterday i had no class so i decided to make full use of my "last" day of freedom before the full onslaught of my school projects.Took the bus 190 behind my block and headed there alone.Decided not to have any company with me because i really want to be alone on my "last" day.Wanted to check out Tower Records but found out they were no longer at the place that they should have been.It was nowhere to be seen.The longest time i spent there that day was reading some photography books at Borders.The black and white photography was all taken by me!haha.Im so into bnw photography but i lack the tools.I can only try the things i learnt from the books using my normal camera.Kinda sucky right?And the rest of the journey i shall not describe as i just zipped from place to place quickly.

Today was a very tiring day to say the least.Had school till 2.Jogged 2.4km with chee wee and jeffrey(who did only 3 rounds) while the rest of them were up at the stadium cheering us on(maybe they werent).Met up with thiru and shiraz for our weekly gym at Jurong Sports Complex.Then went home.Still had some school stuff to do but was too lazy.And now im eating yoghurt.Thats life man! School was fine even though it was a damn long day.Was slacking most of the time with Kent,Jospeh and Jeffrey for quite some time during our Audio lesson at Fc 6 for an hour and a half.Was quite bored of Fc 6 today.Had so many "breaks" that i think i was there 3 times with different groups of people.This is my school life.Boring and uneventful at times like this...

Been so long since i last did my night jog at the track near my house.No more old faces there.No one was jogging with me at 9.54pm.No more was there the auntie who runs like a dog because her hair makes a funny wavy move when she run.No more ITE bukit batok guy who seems to run so much faster then me.No more UK SHYAM lookalike who sprinted all the way in the rounds he normally ran.After i finished my 6 rounds, then some other guys started running. Been thinking lately of how life zipped past so fast that before you know it, you're at another phase of your life.I realized that as you grow older,you are faced with so many problems all around you.Things get so much more complicated.Why cant things just stay the same and make life so much simpler?I hate this place so much.Give me an island with a beach on it and let me live there forever.Ill take that opportunity without much hesitation.This world is too complicated for me.I need somewhere peaceful and quiet to reflect on everything ive been through with the time that had been given to me.The only place where i can feel such at ease is at St John island,where my grandma stays.But now,all this stupid damn modernisation thingy is slowly destroying the nature and beauty that was left untouched there.When will humans learn that not everything should be the way they want it to be?Cant they just leave somethings alone?Slowly but surely,we are destroying not only our environment,but in the process also ourselves... Today is sunday,a day where i always wake up late and enjoy myself.But today i did something so unimaginable in my life.I played pool with my dad!!!!haha.Was supposed to play with him last weekend but didnt have the time.I dont remember how we ended up discussing about playing pool but i remember asking him if he played it in his younger years.We played at the shopping centre just beside beauty world.Forgot what was the shopping centre called.The atmosphere was great and the music was relaxing.

I wanted him to teach me how they played back in the days at Tanjong Pinang.If no one knows yet,my dad is an Indonesian but he is a Singaporean PR now.He told me that he used to play with my other uncle's living there.He told me of their game rules and it was totally different from what we play here.I shall not go into details as i myself am not sure what the rules are as i only have a rough idea about it.We decided to play the normal routine 9 and 8 ball games.Been ard 20 years since he last played but he managed to beat me twice in our 8 games played.Quite pro.I think if he played a few more games, he would beat me all the way.After that went to boon lay,jurong west and teck whye.Wondering how we go to so many places so quickly?My father has a bike so we zip from places to places.haha.We ate,talked,searched for stuff and bought some food for the family.Went home after that.Wanted to cut my hair but all the barber was so packed.Decided to cut it tommorow or some other days. Tommorow is another longggg day.11am till 6pm.And gonna meet my supervisor for my weekly meeting session.Gonna be a long and boring day. Been thinking about creating some t-shirts for myself.Wondering the procedure involved in it.Been checking around the websites available on the net.But i have to say the Singaporean sites sucks big time!Their websites are like primary school pages with flashy images and scrolling text.What a pain for the eye!The american websites were soooo much better with tools to even create our own t-shirts online!Check out CustomInk,one of the websites available on the net.Anybody have any idea how much it costs to create our own custom t-shirts?Or where do i get the services available? Yesterday was the longest day of the week.School starts at 9 and ended at 6.Thought that my audio lecture was for two hours but my lecturer,the ever funny and so tolerable Mr.Michael Spicer said that my class was suppose to start at 9 and end at 10.Argh.Slacked around school till around 1.If only i had known earlier would have gone out to some place else.In total,i had 5 hours of free time today till my next lesson at 3.

Decided to go to dover marketplace area to eat with chee wee and joseph and then head to ginza to play LAN with my classmates.I wasnt really a fan of LAN but just decided to follow them as i had nothing better to do.The place there sucks but we enjoyed ourself there killing each other in CS.Shian,jeffrey,kent,chee wee and me were the only ones there as the other kids were probably in school at that time.Came back to school at 3.30pm and was a bit late for our animation class which starts at 3.Didnt do much there except drawing of characters for our assignment that was due soon. After school was done and over with,me,kent,jeslyn and jeffrey went to jurong point to catch lord of the rings again.Joseph went along but he didnt catch the movie as he already watched it twice.Only jeslyn hadnt watched it yet so we decided to give false information to her like aragorn died,frodo killed himself and much much more.haha.Kinda nice to watch it again and appreciate the masterpiece that peter jackson had created.After finishing the show at 11,went home and slept like a log.Woke up late today and here i am back at home.No school for me today as my group decided not to meet up today.Gonna have school tommorow till 1 and that sucks. Been listening to Muse for a while,a band i "found" out while watching MTV.Great alternative band to listen to.Try their song Time Is Running Out or their new single Hysteria.Gonna blow you guys away with their drums and guitars.Havent heard a lot from the other bands so decided to get myself engulfed in this band.Thinking of getting the cd soon... My body is in total pain!!!My arms are aching and my legs are killing me.Its so hard to bend my arms back.haha.All due to my first session gym yesterday.The pain is quite bearable.

Today went to school for a lecture and meeting with my client.Didnt know that the client is a part time lecturer in SP.And that he's teaching us this term in advance CANI.We talked and talked with both the client and the supervisor in charge of us.The client even wants us to produce a playable demo by the end of this month!This is madness as we have neither the experience nor the knwoledge of the software we are gonna use!Its called GameStudio,a game development software.Looks like busy days ahead for me and my group... After that,went jogging with my classmate Chee Wee at the SP stadium track.Been a while since i jogged.Must be at least a month ago.We went for 6 rounds and my stomach was in pain as i just ate 3 pratas only 30 minutes ago.Stupid me.Cos i was very hungry and i didnt think that i can run on an empty stomach.Maybe running on a full stomach is a bad idea too. I think i should put in more feelings into my blog.Let me start today... L.o.v.e. Such a short word and yet such a big meaning.I still remember the time i was in love.Only once in my life have i felt so much love for someone.Have you ever felt that you've known someone a lifetime yet you've only know her for a few years?Have you ever felt that whenever you are near you felt so much love yet you felt so far to her?Have you ever felt so much love for someone that you cant say something without getting tongue tied?Have you ever felt so certain that she was the ONE? I felt that once in my life,and i dont think ill be able to feel that again.Been so long since i saw HER.SHE was the angel of my life.Whenever i see HER i see someone so pure and innocent.I made a mistake by taking too long in making a decision and it was the turning point of my life.Never have i ever felt such regret and pain in my life.If only i could turn back time, ill make everything right.If only i had taken the chance.So many if's.I love HER so much that ill do anything for her.Id climb the highest mountain just to see her smile and id swim the widest river just to see her eyes.I even wrote a song for HER accompanied by an acoustic guitar.Maybe one day ill post it up.Maybe i wont. Woke up late today as i only had meeting with my fyp group at 2.We had to discuss about our project as we are meeting the client tommorow.After discussing for quite some time,we decided to split the sketches among the four designer among us.I just finished sketching one of my characters and it sucks big time.haha.Been so long since ive touched my skech book again.My character is mostly in black and quite simple as we wanted to do a low polygon character in our game.Enough about work now.Im getting carried away.

After that,me,joseph,jeffrey and jin jian a.k.a cabbage went to clementi to makan.After eating,met up with Shiraz near the Mc Donald area.He's gonna pick me up with his new bike!haha.His bike was quite big and he was able to ride it like a pro.Went back to his home to take some stuff and also a sport shoe as we were going to the gym.Once we reached his block,he went up and went to shit or something.As i waited below his block,it was literally a cockroach battlefield!!!!!!Dead and alive cockroaches were everywhere!haha.No offence to shiraz.I think there was more than 30 cockroaches down there.I wanted to sit down but was afraid some of it will crawl up my pants.Decided to stand around.Even while i was standing doing nothing,they were like coming on to me!haha.So i decided to play a bit of soccer and kick them around.I must have looked stupid but it was quite fun.A good warm up before we eventually go to gym. Shiraz came back and we were on our way to jurong sports complex gym.By the way,this is the first time i am gonna step into a gym all my life!Met thiru at the ticket counter and the three of us went to buy the tickets that cost $2..50 to enter the gym.Once we reached,we went into the toilet to change and i realised that shiraz brought for me a size 10 shoe.Unfortunately,my foot is size 8!Fucking big!I look like Ronald Mc Donald!haha.So after we changed,its into the gym!So many equipments all around.We decided to train our legs first.I nearly broke the thing after i realised that we were not suppose to let go after we moved our leg down using the equipment.The weights banged together and made a loud sound.Very paiseh.After several rounds,shiraz worked around with the weights.We waited for him and after that went to this equipement where u hold up the bar above our chest and lift it up.Shiraz started out with 17.5kg per side,meaning 35kg.Me and thiru decided to go for 30 kg as we were still new.Argh,did 10 times per round for everyone of us for a few times.Damn shiok!I feel at last that im working out my hand muscles.But the first time i did it i accidentally made a mistake and bang the bar against the support.Very very very loud noise!Paiseh again.While working out,met Sanveen,my old sec school friend who was supposed to be schooling in America.She told me that she was having a holiday.With her was her sister and cousin.Shiraz was instantly hooked onto my friends sister.haha.Quite pretty ah the gal.After that,we changed and went off.Shiraz and Thiru went off to IMM to meet up with Nani while i decided to go home.Damn mrt so packed.And thats my journey for today.Gonna have only one lesson tommorow at 1 till 2.After that gonna meet up with the client.What a fun day tommorow is gonna be.Maybe ill go jog around the SP stadium tommorow.Need to keep myself occupied with activities to get me back in shape... Been quite busy these few days.Today was the start of school and as usual i was late for class.Been a while since i met some of the people in my class and some others.Some look different with hairstyles while others have gained a bit of weight during our attachment.haha.Even i gained a few pound.Got to buck up soon as NS is near.Need to be in a gym cos i never been in one before.Cos my normal form of exercise is through soccer.

O ya,talking bout gals,never see much pretty gals around sp anymore.haha.All the year 1's i saw today was so so.Except for that one gal that pretty gal that i always see but have no idea whats her name.As pretty as ever but a bit more chubby.But still looking good and sweet.haha.Im going out of my mind. After finishing class at six,went off with jeffrey,kent,joseph and jeslyn to catch a movie at jurong point.We caught School Of Rock and i have to say it was quite a good movie.The kids really know how to play the instruments especially the small kid who can play the guitar like jimmi hendrix!The thought of learning to play the guitar properly is now back into my mind.Should i get a guitar or shouldnt i.That is the question.Been wanting to learn it for quite some time but just dont have the free time to.After the show we went to makan at the top floor of jurong point.Chit chat with them till bout nine thirty and went back home by taking the bus. I forgot to mention that my friend,kent chan,keep pestering us about hiring him to create some dvd or vcd home video collection.He did his attachment in that field and now wants to earn some money.I just think that he's broke after losing some mahjong money and need the cash fast!haha.Might consider his options but i dont think i need to waste money on such stuff. Argh,tommorow have to go back school to discuss my final year project thingy.Luckily its at 2 and its the only thing on my timetable tommorow.Have i told you guys about the project?Its some kind of 3d fighting game like Soul Calibur except that we have to create it from scratch!Die man.Have to come up with the characters,background,sound and all those stuff.But we only have to do two character in only one stage.Phew!But that will be quite hard as we also have to create the AI or computer own movement.And we also have to use a software called Game Studio.Never used it before.Have to be trained by the client over the next few weeks.No idea how to.Im not skilled in programming at all and the only thing i know i can contribute is through the designs and 3d modelling stuff.Gonna go sleep now.Hope tommorows discussion will be swift and fast. What a long and tiring day it was for me.Went for soccer in the morning with vinod,my block merah friend, at nine plus but ended up waiting for my friend till abt 11 before we started playing.My old sec school friend, Daniel, called me up the day before for soccer.Ended up that i only know him and his cousin when we played at the west coast street soccer court.There was sooooo many other teams made up of fit ns guys,fat ns guys,malay guys and some weird jeans guys who play in their jeans in the hot hot sun.Crazy fellas man, cos i was already sweating like hell in my shorts.Dont know how they survived.Well,everything went well except for the fact that it was freaking hot and humid.O ya, there was one part where out of my eagerness to stop the opponent from scoring a goal,i cleared the ball till it went above the high fences and into the canal beside it!Argh!Had to go one whole round just to get to the ladder that leads to the bottom of the canal.Luckily there was no tide as that would have been impossible for me to get the ball.Nearly slipped and made a fool of myself when i was about to take the ball down there.Ok,enough about soccer.

After sweating countless buckets of sweat,i went to makan with vinod at the nearby west coast food centre.So much choice and in the end ended up getting chicken rice.We were so hungry we also ordered rojak after that.haha.Hmmm,there was this pretty malay gal at the rojak shop.Vinod keep saying that the gal is looking at me.No difference man,i was looking at her too!She looked like siti nurhaliza,the malay singer!So fair and pretty and tall.haha.While i was distracted by her beauty,two of my poly friends nearly walked past by us unnoticed.Thanks to vinod roving eyes,he saw thiru and nani.They joined us for their lunch and got indian rojak.I was so full that just by looking at the food it was making me much more full. Soon,we were on our way to clementi.Nani and her bf thiru parted from us as me and vinod were heading to bugis.Took the train there and walked for quite sometime.Got a new t shirt there after searching the place.Then vinod wanted to go sim lim just to meet up with his old pals working there as he used to work there during his attachment days.Walked to sim lim and after all is said and done we went back to the train to go home. Was supposed to go back home but i forgot to bring my keys and had to go down at jurong east to meet up with my family.They were busy buying books for my brother who is in primary 5 this year.Reached home around 7.My sister then called canadian pizza as i wanted to treat the family.Got the hawaiian and turkey turkey medium pizza.Both were quite nice but i cant say the same for the garlic bread.It was so scuky as it was just like those delifrance bread spread with the garlic bread thingy.$1.50 for each one.So expensive.Later at night went to take my glasses at teck whye area.Quite nice actually.And the gal there was quite pretty.Keep smiling all the time.hehe.Went back home to catch soccer and then band of brothers.And now im back to my old CPU... My day starts with me expecting my pay from my job to be processed into my bank account as it is already been 10 days since i finished my project.I worked at my ex-attachment place abt a month ago as they needed someone to do some mapping for some client.Took me 23 days including the weekends to finish it up.They delayed and delayed my payment till today.But now its not even in my account when i checked it in the morning!Argh!!!!So i called my boss and asked for explanation.She said because they transferred it into my account 3 days ago,it included the new year which the bank is closed or something.Therefore,to make it 3 days processing,im only gonna get it tommorow.Hmmmm,if i still see nothing in my bank account tommorow,im gonna burn that place up!haha.

Did nothing in the afternoon as i thought i was gonna have my pay and with that,to go out and enjoy the rest of the day with my friends.But i got out for a little while in the evening to teck whye to make my new specs.The place that i went to was freaking small like one small hdb room.Dont know how they squeezed in everything in there.haha.Got what i wanted for only 75 bucks!No idea why its so cheap.Gonna check it out tommorow why its that cheap when its ready. After that i went for my weekly night class on Friday.Started at 8 till 10.Was soooo tired after that.And now im back in my room doing nothing at all.Luckily there is soccer tommorow morning.At least that will keep me occupied in the morning until i go out with my frens in the afternoon.Hope tommorow will be a brighter and much more fun day then today! A friend of mine asked me to create this kinda blog but at first i was not that sure i have the time to do this.But after some consideration i said "Why Not Andi? Must try new things!".haha.A new experience is ahead of me and i might as well take the chance. Well, to start my New Year, i had taken my first step into Escape Theme Park! Wohooo!At first i thought it was gonna be a very big big big place with all the rides but i was dissapointed.Though the rides was quite heart stoppping,it was nowhere close to those i rode at Thailand a few years back.But the best ride to me was the water-roller coaster thingy. I was so wet after that ride that i look like i just bath! haha. I went with my family members and my cousins there. I wanted to treat my bro and sis to it but my father said he would pay for it! Phew,i saved some (maybe a lot!) money.haha. Ok,this skin sucks but i dont have the time to create something nicer.There were some websites with free blog skins but i'd rather create my page.Ill put it up soon when i have the time. School is starting soon and its gonna be one heck of a semester as this will be my last one. So fast 3 years have gone and it kinda great actually that Ns is near!No need to use brain power.My brain is almost of full capacity.Need to reformat.haha. Ok,this is a bit long for my first blog.Hope you guys enjoy it.Nothing funny to say today.Next time ill tell some stupid stuff i do everyday of my life!Its gonna be unbelievable man... |
