Met up with some old colleagues from my old workplace yesterday.It was great to see them again after quite some time.Went to dhoby ghaut area to meet up with Alex,Tat Chuan,Melvin and his friend after finishing up my ACAN assignment at around 7.Let me tell you more about them.

Alex is a programmer.He is one damn good programmer.His hometown is Sabah,Malaysia.Graduated from Australia.Went to work in a company called Agis in Malaysia,but then was sent to Singapore doing the same work in the same company but located in Singapore.Got paid in Malaysian ringgit even though he was working here.haha.Pity him man.But has since renegotiated his contract and now being paid fully in Singapore Dollars.A funny,friendly,smart guy who i can depend on. Tat Chuan is an NTU graduate who is another brilliant programmer.He is a game-maniac,and he loves playing games on his PS2.Loves KFC a lot.Leaving the company soon for a better one.I feel that he has a very bright future ahead of him. Last but not least Melvin,still an NTU student.This giant is also a programmer.His majoring in engineering but his programming is superb.He won a competition for the company without knowing.He created a program for Nokia phone while on attachment that can display maps and it won the company a 3650 phone.He is a young entrepeneur in the making. Even though ive parted ways from my attachment company,i left feeling happy that ive connected with everyone there.I still feel part of the company as most of the colleagues there are like friends to me than workers.They are a bunch of smart,funny and friendly which makes the work environment so relaxed.Almost felt like it was my second family.Met up with them for a session at Selegi.Enjoyed myself till around 11pm.Went for some famous beancurd at that area called Rochor beancurd and it tasted great.Then took the train home feeling dead tired. Last but not least,i found out this girls name that ive been looking at for quite some time.Thanks to Azlin and Cheryl,i found out her name was Sharifah.What a beautiful name.Well,not seen her around for quite some time.Life is getting more boring with each day passing by... The whole week was all about work work work.Advance character animation deadline was up on next monday which is not enough ample time for most of us to finish as we concentrated too much on the character and not the animation.Not enough time was spent on my final year project.This is beginning to scare me as it seems that our 3d game was way behind time.

Other than the enormous stress at school,me chee wee and jeffrey went swimming today after doing some stuff at my home.Been a while since i last swam as time is so limited nowadays.We went to Choa chu kang sports complex and the swimming pool was packed to the brim.It seems that every kid in singapore was dumped into that pool.There was tons of kids all over the pool.We had problem even swimming across to the other side.As time past by,more kids went home and we were left with some chicks.Chee wee cant get enough of 2 chicks swimming that he decides to swim behind her as a "bodyguard".haha.Cos there wasnt any gals of our age swimming today except for those two.We kept checking them out using jeffreys glasses as he forgot to put them into the locker because we 2 are blind without our specs.We swam till around 7 30 and then they went for a game of mahjong while i went home. Time is passing so slowly now.Ever since i told her i loved her,it seems the world stopped turning and my world starts dropping.I wanted her to be my valentine but she rejected,saying that she would rather stay at home then go out romantically cos shes not in the state.What an excuse.I had no choice but to say, "ok,thats your choice, let me try to get on with my miserable life".I have bad luck in the love department all my life.I cant seem to get the right gal whose willing to see me more than what i am outside.I wanna find a girl who sees who i really am.This world has none of them.

Other than being brushed aside on Valentines Day by her,i got to let my frustrations out with my group of buddies Chee Wee,Kent,Jeffrey and Meng Kiat.We went for Lan,which i used to find very lame,as we all have no Valentine whatsoever that day.And god behold,there was more guys in Lan shops that day then any other day.So many guys who i think either have been pusehd aside by the gal they love or have no life at all.We waited for 2 hours and still there was no seats.So we decided to get to dhoby ghaut.War of words ensued as some prefer taxi while others prefer public transport.In the end taxi won and we 5 squeezed into a taxi.And the rest of the day breezed through just like that,without me ever thinking bout her. Well,life now have been very hectic.Deadlines are near,interim presentation is just weeks away and im slowly fading away.What a life... Ps.I just got Incubus album a few days back.Its totally rocking alternative! February 14, 2004

Been wasting too much time.Need to get back on track on school work.Beginning to see how badly i am functioning in school.My work are so far behind in terms of quality.Its getting more slower and slower.

And talking about other than school,the Grammys are getting worst and worst.All the performers are old and outdated people except Outkast.They are so behind in time with their fashion and song that its more of a 50's award show then 2004 Grammys. Have been waiting for 5 days for Incubus new album,A CROW LEFT OF THE MURDER, to appear on Singapore shelves.Doesnt look like its coming soon.Cant wait to lay my hands on it. February 04, 2004

PEOPLE ARE SO FUCKED UP! all i want is to be left alone with myself.no problems no nothing!! Its better than all this fucked up things in my life. People always ask me why i look so happy everday. What i forget to say is what you see me from the outside is not what i feel inside. Im gonna blow up soon.Once its done,there is no turning back. What have i done to deserve such fate?! o ya,jus created a new look with the pic i took.howd it look?i feel it looks kinda sucky.needs more work...

Had street soccer tournament yesterday.Been quite some time since i last played soccer due to the work in school piling up.Was trying to get everything off my chest during soccer.In my team was thiru,my old fren,guo xiang,ex pioneer and other business friends of thiru.We were drawn into a group with 5 other teams.There was 4 groups in all the tournament.

First match went from us going 3-0 down to us winning 3-4 in the end.That was the best match we had other than the one where we were also fighting back from 4-0 down to us winning 4-5 in the end.We had won 2 but lost 2 and we had to win the last match.Luckily,the last game was against a weak team and they wanted to lose anyway.haha.We won 7-2 in the end.We are through to the quarter finals and its gonna be played out this wednesday. Hari Raya Haji is today.Went to my aunt place where everyone gathered.Food was good,and i was so full by the time i went off.Nothing much happened.Went out for a while and returned home quite soon. Just wanna wish everyone Happy Hari Raya Haji.Enjoy! |
