 oil tank fire fighting, hell of a field exercise  oil tank fire fighting, just one of the few exercises we did March 20, 2005
i am freaking tired this wkend. it was one hell week with training after training in herendous pace. laying of hose to the 8th floor, carrying 25 kg of equipments up to the 8th floor, repelling ourselves from the 7th floor hanging jus by a harness and other fire fighting barely made me stand up. but this is nothing compared to next week. monday exam, tuesday ippt, wednesday and so on will start our field exercise to prepare us for our final exercise. i got the apartment/warehouse on fire for my final exercise, and the appoinment of section commander 1. im doomed, ill be the first one to lead the crew inside the apartment to fight the fire. thats not what im afraid of. the word "semula" is. it means to start all over again. and that is a word that will be used often in this exercises. one wrong move and we'll have to start all over again, making up all the hoses and set up we did. god help me please..

 see that hair? im gonna cut it tmrw. damn. haha well, 5 more weeks till i pass out from my 6 month Emergency Response Specialist course. time past by so fast. it just seems like yesterday when i stepped into the Civil Defence Academy. the last few weeks are gonna be hellish, it can last up to 1 or 2 am at night just fighting the fire. but im up to the challenge, to push myself to the limit. bout my life right now, im just happy to be up and running. to be exact, i havent taken light duty or mc ever since i came in civil defence around 6 months ago and i thank god for that. lately, ive seen people with disabilities all around me, and i pity them. they cant do things that a normal person can on specific tasks, but i admire their courage and willingness to challenge everything that comes their way. this acts as a motivation for me to give my best in everything i do. so dont take things for granted, lifes never fair. im now rushing my multimedia stuff for my passing out ceremony. most of the posters are done, plus the invitation card. i havent uploaded the card yet but the posters can be seen on my deviant artwork . now im left with designing the new tshirt that has to be done as soon as possible. hope i can make it better that the ones selling at bugis or far east. haha. well, thats all i have time for right now. sorry for not updating in some time since im very fatigued every weekend. enjoy the weekends! |
