came back from batam a couple of days back. was fun and sad at the same time. to see my favourite cousin getting married was very exciting. she's a nurse and i guess that makes her a caring person to be with. hehe. her husband is sure one lucky guy.

then there's the sad part, seeing my uncle unable to move freely, bedridden due to diabetes. nothing can prepare me for that, a young healthy middle age man suddenly stripped of all his health. he was so thin and such a pity sight to see, i really couldnt utter much words to him. in my heart, it was killing me softly. this makes me realise that life is precious. enjoy every minute you have since you'll never know when life takes everything away from you. you may seem imperfect to yourself, but look around, there are much worst things. so why arent you happy with what you have been given by god? that is what all of us should ask ourselves. look at the mirror, and see that complete person staring back at you. once we were babies, knowing nothing, unable to walk, unable to talk. then we were adults, knows everything, able to walk, love to talk. lastly we were old, senile, unable to walk, unable to talk. life is one long journey that comes full circle... Love. Four simple words yet one complicated affair. We cant live with girls but we cant live without them. There are so many meanings to that one word. You can love someone because they share the same interest in everything you do. You can love someone because they are beautiful and perfect to you. You can love someone because they care about you all the time. And you can love someone because they make you feel complete.

But does that really matter? Having a girlfriend may fulfill those empty spaces, but what happens if you broke up with her? Whats the use of being in a relationship anyway when you are going to break so many hearts in the process. Maybe thats why i try to stay away from one. Its not that i dont have any suitors, its either that i need more time to get to know her or that "ive known her a while but is she the right one?" But what if there are a few arounds who inhibits these traits. How do you differentiate one from the other. In my mind, ill only go for it if i found the right one. But then again, is there really a right one? There's the fairytale ending and there's the "you are not perfect but i'll get used to it". Confused. Confused. Confused. Maybe time will show the way.. On the other hand,  Sorry i was bored. Went Cheeky again last weekend with my 3 friends. We had fun, but unfortunately the fun had to end early for me due to work on that very morning itself. I was really dead beat after that. Oh yeah, you know that i am a movie freak. Ive already caught Sin City ard a month back, Star Wars Episode 4( 5 & 6 are still waiting to be watched), Harold And Kumar Goes To White Castle and many more to list. Im just trying to make time for Napoleon Dynamite, Sky Captain And The World Of Tommorow and 21 Grams. My bro and sis keep rambling about how funny Napoleon Dynamite is. I downloaded it yet i have not seen it. What irony. From the clips they show me, it really is freaking funny. There was this one part where the sidekick felt so hot, he tried several things to cool down. He drank cold water, he bathed in cold water but in the end, he decided to just shave bald. Then he wore this funny wig. haha. Hilarious. Everytime before i type an entry, id have tons and tons of topics and stories to ramble on. But once ive logged on, i become lazy to type it. If only i have a tool that can read my mind and type it down for me. haha. Time to say goodbye. Maybe next time ill write something more interesting. June 02, 2005
 waiting for the rain to stop pouring on that bloody nite... oooooo, its been a while since i updated. where shall i start. lemme jus make it nice and short so that my entry doesnt seem like one long report or composition which you all have once in your life written. -NDP, i was chosen for it. Damn f%ck, me and my other friend,fazli was the only NSF chosen for it. what luck! fghfgjfkddlf. the schedule for the rehearsals are another pain in the ass, taking away my off days from me. first few rehearsals was the worst, having to wait for the army for 8 freaking hours to arrive. i really felt like taking out the water mist gun and shooting all of them down. haha. im involved in the moblie column thingy, the part in ndp where lots of army, police and civil defence vehicles go past the president. the vehicle im in is the LFAV, light fire attacking vehicle, more commonly known as the Red Rhino. my part in it is to spray the water mist gun while we go past the president. lame right. thats ns for ya. haha. after that, we'll be proceeding to jurong east entertainment centre open area to perform a showcase. again, there'll be some action there. wont tell ya the details so come on down to find out! haha. basically me and my crews will be fighting fire. -went cheeky monkeys with vinod, arman and herman ard a wk back. was fun to just club and dance. but unfortunately, there was little babes to be seen,maybe due to the rain. but one of the ladies played a prank on me. i was caught off guard. approaching me, she asked for my sunglasses. so i gave it to her, and she wore it. she asked if it looked cool on her and of course i said yes. she took it off, and hanged it inside her cleavage. i was thinking, what the f$ck. now she wants me to buy a drink from her. i was conned. haha. so i played her back, refusing it, acting innocent and such. her friend, who is sooo pretty looking, noticed me and took out 10 bucks from her panties. then i was thinking again, wat the f!uck. she wanted to lend me the money but of course i said no! its not that i cant afford it, its just that i dont wanna drink no more. so i look at the lady with my specs and after some time, she gave it back. haha. i won! -oh, the liverpool vs ac milan game was shocking. being a milan fan, i was coaxed to follow my liverpool friends including kiran and thiru to watch it at the newly built liverpool clubhouse at UE square. was kinda small but the support was definitely there. but i cant understand this stupid guy, wearing a milan shirt into the clubhouse. isnt that just absurd going into a club that is playing against that team you are wearing? we stood for nearly 10 hours. i was waiting for the game to end but it went into extra time. by that time, i was just soooo tired, i just sat down on the floor and watched with my head held back. haha. -i bought a new hp, sony ericsson k700i! 1000000 times better than my old 3610 hp. been so long since i wanted to get a new phone and now the time has come. the only thing missing now is a bluetooth donger to transfer data and mp3 to and fro my computer. unfortunately, the one vinod gave me couldnt work due my computer being unable to read the cd that comes with it. i guess ill have to wait till i have the time to drop by sim lim and get one. -went swensens for dinner with iqbal a.k.a iqqie. my fellow colleague at tuas fire station after one of the NDP rehearsals. hes a nice guy with a passion for photography. i used to be so into it, but ever since ive graduated, time for such hobby is very limited. the pasta there is very nice, especially the teriyaki one. -met nurul after sometime for dinner, nice gal to be with. cheerful and lively, hardworking and smart. we talked about everything, walked around for a while and then i sent her home. hope she enjoyed it. -played pool with amir and nasir yesterday night. those buddies of mine are always late. haha. next time ill be much more late, i promise. we went to lucky plaza for dinner and then for a game of pool. ok, the dinner was more interesting cos there was much more to be seen! pretty gals was everywhere. haha. after the game of pool, we were on the way back when i remembered, i forgot to take my 11B!(11B is some kind of IC for nsf guys) so had to ran back and luckily it was still there. forgetful me. so heres a link to amir blog where he uploaded the pics we took from our camera. click here.(warning, some pics are actually fun that you may want to play pool after this) -oh ya, i turned 21 on 25th may. i dont celebrate birthdays that much, just spent it with my family and alone with me, myself and i. i just prefer to be alone at times. thinking back what youve done in life, reflecting every moments that has passed. time past by so fast. so dont forget to cherish it with your loved ones. |
