its been a nice week that has passed. the usual fire calls and soccer at station (ns dudes have beaten the regulars on every duty) basically stayed home a lil more due to lack of cash but i just got my pay so im estatic! the most current event i went to was mr ahmad's farewell dinner. he's goin overseas to further his studies together with his family at bournemouth university in UK. it was attended by my batch of students though the turn out was barely 13 strong. clarke quay was our destination with riverside the chosen restaurant. the food was great and really delicious. bbq chicken, sambal prawn, stingray and so much more! never eaten so much in a long long time. it was particularly great to see mr ahmad again after so long. he still has his small eyes that he is so famous for. great personality with a smile that can kill. hehe. and a great father too from what i see. his kids adore him. one day when i am one, he's a perfect example to follow. i really missed the times i used to be his student. maybe i should have studied harder. well, cant turn back the hands of time right?     
oh ya, there was this Treasure Hunt event by the home team and since it was a last min thingy that the group of 4 (hafiz, maman, hamsa and another guy who i forgot) was told about the design your car thingy, we came up with this crap... from this

and so here i am again, professing my state of confusion on a word called "love". what does it really mean?

is it to have someone you like to be around with? is it to have someone who cares for you even though you dont feel the same way? is it to have someone whom you think about before you go to sleep every night? is it to have someone you enjoy being in their company? i really have no clue. ive always come to the conclusion that love will just come your way through fate. do we have to work hard on love to make it work? if thats the case, is that called love or making love work for us. confusion, misinterpretation, misunderstood. maybe it takes time. maybe its not time yet. maybe expectations are too high. maybe maybe maybe. whatever it is, i havent felt love since her. there have been other gals, but the feeling just isnt the same. the first love always stay in your heart forever. punch me in the face a million times but i still wont forget her. letting bygones be bygones, some things just dont change. young will be old. smooth will be wrinkled. but the heart will still feel the same. or does it. Even the best fall down sometimes Even the wrong words seem to rhyme Out of the doubt that fills my mind I somehow find you and I collide should i try my luck this time and pray that it wont end up the same as it did. i dont wanna hurt no one. maybe thats why i cant bear the thought of making someone cry through my mistake. maybe thats why the heart is slowly closing, just leaving glimpse of light through.. |
