it has been a very long week and it is going to get so much longer. had my community bonding day rehearsal from 10am till 5plus today, and tommorow ill be working 24 hours. then the very next day we will have the actual community bonding day till 5pm. so ill be working for 32 hours straight! this is madness! well actually this is life in SCDF. hard as it may sound, work is work. haha. by the way its an exhibition at bukit batok fire station from 9 till 5 so if you do drop by do msg me. then you can see me all dressed up and handsome in uniform. hahahhahhaha. just joking. ill be involved in the flying fox and some other event as the pulling party. we pull the ropes so that people can repel down. looks so easy but it is freaking tiring. ill be at the front so if i make a mistake, the guys on top will end up having a broken toe or something.haha. met up with amir last sunday and we had a great time. just two guys chilling out in the town area. gloria coffee was disappointing. the ice blended was so "icey", it tastes like it just came straight out of an ice kachang machine! haha. the actual plan was to check out Comex. the exhibition was 3 halls at suntec and it was so big that i think i walked about 5 km in all. haha. i got a 1gb sd card for my bro's nokia hp and amir got his laptop fan. it was so packed that we could hardly walk 1 metre without bumping into anybody. but it was great to meet up and just have a "guy" talk. hah. bout girls, relationships and many many more. we dont seem to have any shortage of topics to talk about. maybe its because we've known each other for sooooo long. more than 10 years. we are like brothers. we look out for each other. youll be able to see a few of the pics on amir's blog. on another note, last week was an eventful week at work. things suddenly disappeared into thin air and we got punished inside out for no reason. thats part and parcel of our work. then a road traffic accident near my old house at jurong west central. apek got trapped in a lorry which rammed into a taxi. his leg was injured and we managed to break his door and the front dashboard to free him. didnt realize that it was caught on camera and was actually in the chinese newspaper. then there was the suicide attempt. setting up the lifepack(the one that looks like a funfair thiny filled with air that can cushion a fall) was a pain in the arse. he didnt jump anyway and totally wasted our effort! next time just go on and jump! dont make us set it up and you chicken out last minute. to keep it takes a lot of effort. well if somebody wanted to jump, they would just jump. those who wait till we come wont jump. they just want attention. stupid morons. just join a talkshow and you can get all the attention you want. and some other events which i am just too lazy to write down here. oh, and i hate people who are at the atm deposit machines. they take their own sweet time as if no one is waiting in line. whats wrong with taking out your money beforehand, your card or even your account book? dont do it last minute and make the rest wait. they should install a timing machine which starts when the card is inserted. 5 minutes max. it will be placed on top of the machine so that everyone can see it. when you use more than your allocated time, the machine will swallow your card and write on the board "SLOW". haha. that will be great! lastly, met up with dearie yesterday after her school and treated her to mckenzie rex at dhoby ghaut area. the food was okay but the price was wawaweya. after that we caught the movie hairspray at cineleisure. it was a nice movie with lots of singing and dancing. after you watch that movie, i am sure you will start dancing. haha. im going to rest now. its gonna be a long weekend! enjoy yours! ill be stuck at work. hah. wish me luck that ill last till the end of the week. byee. and you are my heroine do you know that your love is the sweetest sin" - boys like girls its been a long long time since i touched my blog and the reason is: 1 . I am busy with work (who isn't?) 2 . I am busy with my girlfriend and family 3 . I am busy playing my xbox 360 4 . I am busy with talks and the occasional events at work 5 . I basically have no time and then you would ask, how come you have the time now? well i guess its all up to my time management i can sneak in an entry here and there so whats up with my life so far? if you really want to know, i am still with SCDF not as an NSF but as a regular signed on right after i ORD (seems just like yesterday!) and am no longer in Tuas fire station as i am now posted to Jurong fire station i dont have a bond so i can quit anytime i want(isnt that great?!) work is okay, sometimes i just get bored looking at guys all the time (haha. who wouldn't) 24 hours a day well enough about work. ill get back to it some other time yes yes, i am still with my one and only love, nur shaikhah 2 more months and we would reach 2 years! wohoooooooooooooo! shes such an amazing person to be with she can dabble for hours about harry potter she can laugh at jokes i dont find funny she can make me laugh at every little thing she do and thats why i love her and so much more hmmmmmmmmm what else should i update on this very first entry ive seen people die during the course of my work and ive seen people trying to end their life jumping through a window ive seen people trapped in cars after an accident and ive seen many many things other people have not it just shows all of us are very vulnerable one minute you are having the time of your life and the other minute youll be gone from this world so remember life is short live it to the fullest treat every day as your last day and believe me, you will never regret every moment you breathe thats all for now, adios amigos bbeckham gotta play some Fifa soccer! and kick some ass! and then meet mr amir aka aj junior! |
